A sweet piece of my work. One of the benefits of working in such thick metal it the strength and depth of the cuts separating design elements, the cartooning is strong. The side of the box contains a central sinuous line inter spruced with blossoms. This use of a central raised wavy line started with this piece and remains one of my favorite underlying forms. The bottom of the box is very fine work, representing the culmination of a lot of striving, for me it really is perfect achievement.
