Every once in a while, I like to show that I can make metal shiny if I want to. A proof that those mat finishes I am attracted to are achieved through choice rather than limitation of ability.  Shiny finishes are hyper critical. Any slip of the tool shows up. Absolute control of the tool is an essential aspect of this kind of work. This is nice little piece of my work. I particularly like the little dimples I added along the side of the box, The deeply cut lines tracing the outside edges of the bottom’s central element are a true commitment to showing off. A mistake in this step would have wasted almost 20 hour’s work. But I must admit that when shined up this box is pretty impressive.
